Import Path

This operation allows the user to import 5-axis and 6-axis toolpaths generated in other CAD/CAM systems, including 5-axis Gcode, APT and Gcode from 3D slicers.

Please note that the imported code should follow Robotmaster standards to be able to be imported correctly.

File Type

This is the file type of the path you wish to import. It limits the file directory selection to files with the matching extension. Available extensions include: PathX, NC/Gcode, APT and 3D Printing Gcode.

Path Type

This is the type of PathX file you wish to import. This option is only selectable when PathX is the specified File type. There are two type of PathX files: 5 axis and 6 axis.

Gcode Custom Process Activation

This option enables or disables custom commands to be output in the point list. There are two parameters to be set for process activation and de-activation:

Activation Instruction: it represents the command used in the imported path where the process needs to be activated. Examples: “Tool_On”, “Spray_START”, etc.

DE-activation Instruction: it represents the command used in the imported path where the process needs to be de-activated. Examples: “Tool_OFF”, “Spray_END”, etc.

Please note that this is only usable when the File type is set as “NC/Gcode” or “APT”
