If you are reading this articles it means that you probably have been asked to provide a sample program of part that has been programmed with your robotic system.
Unlike the CNC world where syntax standards have been well defined (Gcode), robot output come in many shapes and forms as each brand have its own set of rules. Furthermore, robotic system configurations varies a lot from one organization to another which adds complexity to the robot output.
Robotmaster generates robot code that will provide all the information that relates to the robotic motion as well as standard activation and deactivation macro calls. As we want to make sure that we provide all the specific instructions that your process requires, we need to have a look at a sample program that has been generated by your team.
Guidelines
External devices: Your sample programs should show how instructions are communicated to all external devices (seam tracker, vision system, forces sensor, power supply,...) that are connected to your robot controller.
File management: If your process requires multiple files to run, please provide all files and show how they are called between each other.
Process instructions: If you are using application specific instructions (touch sensing, weaving or drilling routines for instance), make sure they are contained in the sample program.
Logic: If the code contains programming statements (such as if, while or for conditions), explain how they affect the robotic process.
