Refresh from selected surfaces

By selecting a surface, or several tangent surfaces, and then clicking Refresh from selected surfaces button, you will restrict paths generation to contours that consist of the selected surface(-s) edges.

Advanced settings

Set path direction

The Set path direction setting is a dropdown with the options being either For left side compensation, or For right side compensation, which defines the side of generated path(-s) where kerf compensation will be applied.

Swarf mode

Swarf mode keeps the side of the tool in contact with selected surface(-s) using one of two methods listed in the dropdown menu: Automatic, or Shortest distance. For Automatic, tool axis control vector alignment is based on the side wall geometry. For Shortest distance, it is based on the shortest distance between the upper and lower edges of selected surface(-s).

Max direction error

This setting allows you to type in your preferred tolerated Max direction error between 0.01 and 45.

Name elicitation

Path names are generated and ordered with the format Hole #_ Cut #_. Each path constitutes a cut, a hole may or may not consist of several cuts (e.g. beveled holes).

Paths are automatically ordered and labeled based on the plasma cutting technology, so it is highly recommended for them to be left as they are generated. In case the paths order is changed from automatically generated, Hypertherm cutting technology is no longer applicable to the program.
