Tool parameters

Tool number

This is used by default in the TCP manager and should ideally match the tool number used in real life.

Tool name

A name for the tool, used for reference only. It does not affect the program. Use a short, unique name that makes it easy to identify the tool.

Tool description

More descriptive text will be included alongside the tool name in some areas of Robotmaster. For example, Welding wire.

Wire diameter

Diameter of the welding wire (mm).

Length

Stickout or exposed length (mm) of the welding wire, measured from the nozzle end to the tip of the wire. Any portion of the wire or electrode inside the body of the torch / tool holder should not be included in the length.

Open

Length is used for TCP placement and collision detection.
