LAM Error - Unknown Tool Type

This error usually occurs when trying to create a LAM operation with a custom tool type from another Mastercam module (e.g. creating a LAM operation with an Aplus tool)

Solution

In order to create a LAM operation a Standard Mastercam tool must be used, a very small diameter ball end mill is preferred. A tool can be created using the toolpath Manager
