If your program name is too long, contains illegal characters, or if you want to split your program in different files
The current program name being used, can be viewed within each operation (see screenshot)
For most brands, when posting with the "ask" option enabled. if you change the name of the destination file it will also overwrite the name set up in Mastercam.
If posting with the ask option enabled, you can change the name of the destination file and will not have to worry about the program name within Mastercam.
Step-by-step guide
- Select all the operations in Mastercam
- Right click on an operation
- Click Edit selected operations
- Click Change NC file name...
- Define a program name for all the operations. (Make sure does not contain spaces or non alphanumeric characters)
- In Robotmaster, click on Synchronize
