When a Hypertherm Cut Chart entry is selected for a plasma operation, a corresponding tool for that process is automatically created and assigned to the operation.

...

This tool contains parameters specific to the cut chart based on the Cut Chart record for that process, including cut height and linear cut speed.

The naming convention for plasma cutting tools is:

{current in A} Hypertherm {material type} - D{kerf diameter width in mm} H{cut height in mm}

For example, a plasma tool name for Mild Steel 130 Amp O2/Air with a Kerf diameter Width (D) of 2.3 mm and Cut Height (H) of 6.6 mm would appear as:

130A Hypertherm MS - D2.3 H6.6

In Robotmaster for For robotic plasma cutting, Kerf diameter Width (kerf widthdiameter) is used for as tool diameter and cut height Cut Height is used as tool length.(img)

...

For plasma operations, Selected tool, Linear speed, and Set speed from selected tool cannot be edited on the Tool and Speeds page. This information is automatically set based on Cut chart entry.

...

Linear speed in mm/s on the approach to the path, along the tool axis control vectortoolpath. Normally, this is a joint motion.

...

Linear speed in mm/s on the retract from the path, along the tool axis control vectortoolpath. Normally, this is a joint motion.

...

Linear speed in mm/s on the entry or exit paths trajectories leading into or out from the base toolpath.
