Linear speed
Maximum “vertical” speed of the tool, measured in mm/min. (speed when in contact with the workpiece, cartesian move)Speed when making a cartesian move relative to the workpiece.
Spindle speed
How fast the tool spindle turns, measured in revolutions per minute (RPM). When spindle speed is set at the tool level, this is the default spindle speed for that particular tool. Note that this value can be overridden in the Operations editor.
