Top Menu Options (Device)

Fit view

Adjusts the Zoom to fit all CAD and visible elements on the screen.

View settings

Adjusts the view to one of seven preset views.

Isometric

Shows a three-dimensional angled perspective.

Top

Flat appearing bird’s eye view.

Front

Displays the object(s) from the front facing side.

Back

Displays the object(s) from the rear facing side.

Right

Displays the object(s) from the right facing side.

Bottom

Displays the view straight up from below.

Left

Displays the object(s) from the left facing side.

Display settings

Controls what aspects of the simulation are visible.

Robot

A slider that controls the opacity of all robots (0% - 100%).

Tooling

A slider that controls the opacity of all tooling components.

Tool

A slider that controls the opacity of all tools.

Workpiece

A slider that controls the opacity of the workpiece.

Path points

A checkbox that hides or displays path points.

Path vectors

A checkbox that hides or displays path vectors.

Path frames

A checkbox that hides or displays path frames.

Task frames

A checkbox that hides or displays task frames.

User frames

A checkbox that hides or displays user frames.

TCP frames

A checkbox that hides or displays TCP frames.

Element IDs

Show hints when hovering over elements in the viewport.

Workspace settings

Hides or shows the workspace and wrist center. Display workspace must be visible for the option to Display wrist center.

Path drawing settings

Adjusts the visibility and drawing behavior of the path by allowing the user to chose one of the following: Hide Path, Show Path, Draw Path, or Erase Path

Selection settings

Limits CAD selection based on if Object, and or Point are selected.

Snapping settings

 

Sets which points are used as a reference for moving and orienting gnomons. CAD Snapping must be selected to enable Arc center, Edge end points, Edge middle point, Frame origin, and/or Point.

 

Additive material settings

Allows the user to hide or display the material present using the Display material check-box, or clear the material entirely using the Clear material button.

 

Material removal simulation

Allows the user to remove any material added durring the simulation using the Remove material check-box, or restart using the Restart simulation button.
