Sensing type
Selects the type of ohmic sensing to be used in the operation
No ohmic sensing will be used in the operation
One-dimensional ohmic search will be used for arc transfer/pierce/cut height compensation
Touch along path
Initial height sensing (IHS)
If “Sensing type” is selected accordingly, allows the user to define a one-dimensional ohmic search for arc transfer/pierce height/cut height compensation
All cuts: One-dimensional ohmic search will be performed on all cuts in the operation
First cut of each feature: One-dimensional ohmic search will be performed on the first cut of each single- and multi-cut (beveled holes etc.) feature
First cut only: One-dimensional ohmic search will only be performed on the first cut of a multi-cut feature(-s)
Touch along path
If “Sensing type” is selected accordingly, allows the user to define a sequence of one-dimensional ohmic searches along the path, distributed according to a predefined parameter set.
All cuts: The sequence of one-dimensional ohmic searches will be applied to every Plasma Cut Path within a Multi-cut feature
First cut of each feature: The sequence of one-dimensional ohmic searches will be applied only to the first Plasma Cut Path within a Multi-cut feature
Add an extra touch before the lead-in
Adds an extra touch before lead-in: An extra one-dimensional ohmic search will be performed before lead-in part of the Plasma Cut Path
Touch mode
Fixed number (for Touch along path): The one-dimensional ohmic searches will be evenly distributed along the Plasma Cut Path(-s) based on their defined number and the length of the path
Distance (for Touch along path): The one-dimensional ohmic searches will be evenly distributed along the Plasma Cut Path(-s) at the intervals defined by the distance value
Distance between touches
Defines the interval along Plasma Cut Path for ohmic searches distribution in “Distance” Touch mode
Number of touches
Defines the number of ohmic searches to be evenly dsitributed along the Plasma Cut Path in “Fixed number” Touch mode
Auto adjust
Spreads the ohmic searches evenly, adjusting the total number based on the distance between touches defined in “Distance” Touch mode. Ignores the lead-in, lead-out and overlap
Align at start
Forces the first ohmic search to be at the start of the Plasma Cut Path.
Align at end
Forces the last ohmic search to be at the end of the Plasma Cut Path.
Transition height
Defines the ohmic search entry point in the incremental mode with respect to the target search point
Transition speed
Defines the speed of movement from the ohmic search entry point to ohmic search starting point
Touch search height
Defines the ohmic search starting point in the incremental mode with respect to the target search point
Touch speed
Defines the speed of movement from the ohmic search starting point to ohmic search target point
Touch direction
Defines the direction of the ohmic search based on the option selected
Normal to surface: Ohmic search direction is normal to the surface at path point; torch orientation is also normal to the surface at path point
Along feature orientation: Ohmic search direction follows the best approximation of tube/hole/code/edge axis direction; torch orientation is normal to the surface at path point
Along selected vector: Ohmic search direction is defined by selecting a vector/planar surface (normal to the surface), or a set of unit vectors; torch orientation is normal to the surface at path point
