Tool no longer detecting collision with part

Tool no longer detecting collision with part

Robotmaster Version6.x

Problem

Sometimes the simulation will no longer display collisions between the tool and other CAD elements such as the part or a wall.

Solution

Sometimes this is caused by the collision detection settings not being properly set or changed in between sessions.

Check Collision Settings
  1. You can check various collision settings under the Collision tab, next to Home in the top left.
  2. For the tool specifically, there are three parameters
    1. Holder - this can be enabled or disabled
    2. Arbor - this can be enabled or disabled
    3. Flute - this can be enabled, disabled, or only enabled on joint moves.
  3. Make sure all your collision settings are set correctly.
