On the Task side, the Custom frames panel contains reference frames for the task.
Custom task frames can be used for several purposes, including changing the anchor frame, pick and place operations, surface path operations, and so on.
By default, a frame called Default frame appears in the Custom frames list. Default frame is the anchor frame by default. If a part is imported from a CAD file, the default frame will be placed at the origin in the CAD file.
Add any number of task frames to the list using the [+] button.
Any frame that is not the anchor frame can be deleted.
The anchor icon indicates which item is the anchor frame. An anchor frame is a reference frame for a task used to align the workpiece with the path mounting frame of the device.
Any frame can be set as the anchor frame by hovering over the frame and selecting the Set as anchor button.
When a frame is set as the anchor frame, the frame cannot be edited in the viewport or Frame editor.
Other frames that are not set as the anchor frame can be edited in the viewport and the Frame editor.
The Visible/Hidden button allows you to show or hide the frame in the task viewport.
