Step-by-step guide

After installing the software on your local PC, you will need to tell the licensing system from where to access the licenses.

2) Click on WebAdmin

...

3) The Web Admin page will open in your internet browser

...

4) In the Configuration menu, select Basic/Server Search List

...

5) In the Server Search List, Click on add new Server

6) Write the Server's name or IP-address of the license server in the input box. Then click on Add.

...

...

8) A message will be displayed to tell you if the operation is successful

...

Tip

Access to the license server is now set. The current configuration works as follows:

  • The system will look locally for a compatible license. In the event that it does not find it, it will look on the network for the presence of a license server.

  • The license access account is decremented by 1 for each access to the license per machine. Once the license is acquired, there is no limit to the amount of session of Robotmaster the user can run on the given machine. (Same as what you are currently accustomed to with Robotmaster and Mastercam.)

Sometimes, you will also need to grant license access permissions to each of the client computers.

This can be done via selecting Server/License Access Permissions from the Configuration menu.

After that, add client PCs to the Basic Mode Configuration, then apply and restart the service:

...

The Avanced Section allows to control also which users or machines can access the license on the network server.

...

The following window should now be displayed.

...

The rule can apply to a host, Subnet, User or Group. The active directory autofill allows to make sure the expected user of machine was entered.

3) Enter the machine or user to which the rule applies

4) Click on active directory autofill for validation (optional)

5) Click on Add
