The playhead indicates the current position in the simulation. It can be dragged to any position in the timeline.

Use the simulation speed button to modify the playback speed of the simulation. Speed options are: 0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, Real Time (1x), 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x, 4x, and 8x.

The Enabling repeat button causes the simulation to play again from the beginning once it reaches the end, in a loop.
