- Click on the codemeter URL link that was sent to you. Make sure to save this link somewhere. You will always need this link to either activate (new license), deactivate (re-host license) or transfer (re-host + host license) the license.
- The license is considered new if it was never activated on any computer.
- The CodeMeter Control Center application on your PC will not contain the new CmContainer Serial Id. It might contain others, like in the case below, which is fine. Click on "Activate Licenses".
3. Click on "Offline license transfer"
4. When performing any type of licensing task offline, you will be face with 3 major steps: (1) uploading the request, (2) downloading the update and (3) uploading the receipt.
5. First, we have to Upload Request. The instruction are shown below.
a. Download the template from the instruction above if you don't have the CmContainer Serial Id in CodeMeter. In other words, if you never activated or hosted the license on the current PC, you can then simply drag and drop the template in CodeMeter Control Center.
